Job Summary
Deliver occupational therapy services under supervision by Occupational Therapists: implement treatment plans, conduct therapeutic exercises to improve functional abilities, assist patients in performing prescribed activities, use adaptive equipment to support independence, monitor patient responses and document progress, educate patients and families on therapy exercises, and collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure effective therapy delivery.
Required Qualifications
- Valid New Jersey Licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) is required
- Completion of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Proficiency in implementing occupational therapy techniques and exercises
