Job Summary
Provide quality ongoing therapy to all patients within the facility per physician's orders and perform therapy treatment and related duties delegated by the therapist. Communicate on an ongoing basis with the therapist, residents, and staff regarding progress, consult on changes in resident condition, and prepare meaningful reports. Direct resident and patient care while maintaining department records in accordance with facility policy. This role supports the agency's mission of delivering individualized health care to older adults in Montrose, CO, and surrounding counties. Schedule is PRN.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from a Therapy Assistant accredited curriculum
- Eligible for certification and/or licensure per state regulations
- Is a registered assistant or is eligible for registration in the state of Colorado
- Ability to understand medical terminology and how it applies to Therapy in order to communicate with residents, staff and physicians, and to prepare meaningful reports
