Job Summary
Assist occupational therapists in implementing treatment plans for patients, focusing on improving daily living activities (ADLs). Monitor patient progress and document outcomes in accordance with care plans. Educate patients and families on therapeutic techniques and exercises. Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care, utilizing knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from Accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program with Associate’s degree
- Current MN COTA license
- Knowledge of state, federal, and local regulations as they pertain to long-term care
- English communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to provide patient care in inpatient, outpatient, and skilled nursing facility settings
