Job Summary
Implement standards of care for occupational therapy services under the supervision of a registered occupational therapist within your scope of practice. Perform only those services planned, delegated, and supervised by the registered occupational therapist. Maintain valid CPR certification with a practical skills evaluation and demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills. Report to an occupational therapist in the Bastrop coverage area.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an occupational therapy assistant curriculum accredited by the American Occupational Therapy Association
- Certified with the National Certification Examination of the American Occupational Therapy Association
- Licensed by the State Board of Healing Arts in accordance with state licensure laws
- A minimum of one (1) year of clinical experience as a certified occupational therapy assistant
- Demonstrates good verbal and written communication, and organization skills
- Possess and maintain valid CPR certification
- Must have obtained in-person with a practical skills evaluation as part of the final test
- Access to reliable transportation
