Job Summary
Implement standards of care for occupational therapy services under the supervision of a registered occupational therapist within your scope of practice. Perform only those services planned, delegated, and supervised by the registered occupational therapist. Maintain valid CPR certification with practical skills evaluation and demonstrate strong verbal, written communication, and organization skills. Requires graduation from an accredited occupational therapy assistant curriculum, national certification, state licensure, and at least one year of clinical experience. Based in Lampasas, Copperas Cove, Lometa, or Burnet. Fully vested 401k with company match and mileage reimbursement available.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an occupational therapy assistant curriculum accredited by the American Occupational Therapy Association
- Certified with the National Certification Examination of the American Occupational Therapy Association
- Licensed by the State Board of Healing Arts in accordance with state licensure laws
- A minimum of one (1) year of clinical experience as a certified occupational therapy assistant
- Demonstrates good verbal and written communication, and organization skills
- Possess and maintain valid CPR certification
- Must have obtained in-person with a practical skills evaluation as part of the final test
- Access to reliable transportation
