Implement occupational therapy treatment interventions based on the plan of care established by the evaluating OT, adjusting activities to meet patient physical, cognitive, and behavioral limitations. Collaborate with patients, families, and significant others throughout the process while educating them on ADLs such as dressing and cooking skills. Follow the therapist's plan of care, documenting all communication regarding treatment adjustments in daily notes and producing clear, objective documentation for payers. Complete range of motion measurements for the elbow, wrist, and hand, and communicate progress and recommendations to referring providers.
