Job Summary
Remote Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide teletherapy to Spanish-speaking clients. Collaborate with licensed OTs to assess and implement treatment plans, monitor progress, and guide clients via telehealth platforms. Responsibilities include delivering remote OT services, educating patients and caregivers, maintaining accurate documentation, ensuring HIPAA compliance, and ongoing professional development. Works with pediatric populations (18 months+), with emphasis on feeding, sensory, hand skills, emotional regulation, and neurodiverse clients. Requires valid CA COTA license (or ability to apply) and bilingual Spanish proficiency. Employment is W2, and compensation ranges from $41-$46 per hour, commensurate with experience.
Required Qualifications
- Certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
- Active California State Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant license or ability to apply
- Experience in a clinic, private practice, hospital, or home health setting
- Bilingual in Spanish required
- Proficiency with teletherapy platforms
- Comfort working with pediatrics (18 months+)
