Job Summary
Collaborate with the OT to establish rehabilitation plans and follow OTR/L guidance in selecting therapy activities for residents. Assist residents with daily activities, monitor their performance, and teach them to use special equipment for daily function. Supervise residents' activities to ensure proper execution and report progress to the OTR/L. Responsibly and accurately document treatments and outcomes in rehab software. Requires a current New York State OTA license and an accredited OTA program graduation.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited OTA Program
- Current New York State OTA License
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in long-term care setting a plus
