Job Summary
Join Astera Health as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to support licensed Occupational Therapists in enhancing clients' therapy goals and daily living skills. Responsibilities include assisting with treatments across various age groups, completing progress notes, and maintaining communication with the OTR. Ideal candidates possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, a commitment to excellent patient care, and the ability to learn the EPIC system. Applicants must have completed an Occupational Therapy Assistant program and hold the necessary licensure.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from Occupational Therapy Assistant program
- Completed exam and licensure
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with splinting
- Experience in geriatrics
- Experience in orthopedics
Additional Requirements
- Must be available for a minimum of 48 hours per pay period
