Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant

Job Summary
Under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist, treat pediatric patients to enhance independence in daily living skills; document treatment length and progress toward plan of care; follow through on therapy plans for a diverse pediatric population; educate patients, parents, and caregivers about functional and self-care delays and treatment plans; report progress to appropriate parties; collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other therapists; make referrals for additional services as needed. The role is a pediatric therapy position with flexible schedules including work-from-home options; requires an Associate's degree and NBCOT exam completion; strong communication and teamwork skills; new grads welcome. Required Qualifications
- Associates Degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant from an accredited program
- Passed the NBCOT examinations
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Team-oriented with ability to collaborate with other disciplines
