Job Summary
Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant in-house at a Skilled Nursing Facility. Actively participates in the interdisciplinary team and supports the plan of treatment for each resident. Responsibilities include providing resident rehabilitation care under the supervision of a licensed therapist, closely communicating resident responses, performing required documentation for clinical and billing records, supervising aides and students, contributing to center processes, and may travel to other facilities as needed. Requires an associate degree in occupational therapy assistant and current state licensure.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited college or university with minimally an associate degree in occupational therapy assistant
- Assistant is licensed or equivalent certification accepted by the designated professional accrediting body
- Current state licensure in respective discipline
