Job Summary
Occupational Therapy Assistant provides patient-centered care under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist, assisting with evaluations, planning and organizing the plan of care, and coordinating treatment with an interdisciplinary team to support patient goals and discharge planning. Responsibilities include aiding in evaluations and procedures, orienting patients and families to evaluation/treatment purposes, documenting pertinent information, coordinating treatment schedules, recognizing changes in patient condition, and performing additional duties to meet department needs. Licensure and BLS are required; driving and English proficiency are necessary for effective communication with patients, families, and team members.
