Job Summary
Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) provides diagnostic evaluations and treatment to assigned patients under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist, design and administer therapy to increase patients’ functioning, assist with environmental design and adaptive equipment, administer evaluations, maintain records, and deliver therapy to improve strength, range of motion, and functional skills in a skilled nursing/memory care setting. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy and current AOTA registration. Location Fruita, CO; full-time, part-time, or PRN roles available; benefits include health/dental/vision, 401(k) with match, tuition assistance, and more.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy; Current registration with the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA)
Desired Qualifications
- One year of experience preferred
- Strong supervisory skills
- Strong customer service orientation
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- Ability to use tools used to make adaptive equipment
- English language proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking
