Job Summary
Conduct direct patient care under Occupational Therapist supervision to assist in developing treatment plans and implementing therapeutic interventions for daily living and motor skills. Monitor and document patient progress while educating families on adaptive equipment to improve independence. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive care and maintain accurate records per regulatory guidelines. Participate in case conferences and professional development activities as required. Requires current state certification, associate's degree, and one year of experience.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant program
- Current state license or certification as an Occupational Therapist Assistant
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in an occupational therapy setting preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
