Job Summary
Assist the Occupational Therapist in evaluating and developing treatment plans for patients with physical, mental, or developmental disabilities. Implement treatment plans and provide therapeutic interventions while monitoring and documenting patient progress to make necessary adjustments. Educate patients and their families on therapeutic techniques and exercises for home use, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and progress notes. Work under supervision to help patients regain independence and improve their quality of life. This role supports a team focused on professional growth and development.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited Occupational Therapist Assistant program
- Valid COtA certification
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a clinical setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of relevant therapy techniques and equipment
