Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant

Provide therapy services established by the Occupational Therapist in the patient Plan of Care under supervision, ensuring compliance with State and Federal guidelines. Consult with the OTR regarding changes in treatment or condition and participate in care planning, rehab meetings, and family training to communicate patient progress. Appropriately complete documentation including daily notes, progress reports, discharge summaries, and billing submissions. Communicate with patients, families, and referring physicians while maintaining a clean environment and ensuring equipment is in good working order. Follow organizational policies to ensure employee and patient safety and attend required meetings, in-services, and continuing education seminars. Maintain valid licensure and certification as required by the appropriate state agency.
