Job Summary
Provide therapy services established by the Occupational Therapist in the patient Plan of Care under supervision, ensuring compliance with State and Federal guidelines. Consult regarding treatment changes, document daily notes and progress reports, and submit billing and expense documentation. Communicate with patients, families, and the multidisciplinary team while maintaining licensure and attending continuing education. Coordinate treatment goals with other team members, participate in care planning meetings, and ensure equipment and the environment meet safety standards.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of Associate of Arts in Occupational Therapy Assistant
- Licensure as required by State guideline
- Certification as required by State
- CPR Certification
Desired Qualifications
- 1 year Occupational Therapy Assistant experience preferred
- 1-2 years experience in a residential/ assisted living or skilled nursing facility preferred
- Graduates in Occupational Therapy Assistant Program will be considered
