Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant-PRN

Implement occupational therapy plans by recommending courses of action and administering treatments such as massage, traction, ultrasound, and electrical stimulation. Gathers participant health information through interviews and observations, then communicates status changes to interdisciplinary team members. Instructs participants and caregivers on assistive devices and home exercise programs while assisting with physical exercise and activities of daily living. Visits home-bound participants to initiate or modify adaptations and participates in family conferences, team meetings, and the 24-hour care delivery system. Ensures equipment operation through preventive maintenance and troubleshooting, maintains clean working environments, and completes all required medical record documentation.
