Job Summary
Assist the Occupational Therapist in implementing individualized treatment plans, guiding patients through therapeutic activities aimed at improving function and mobility. Responsibilities include documenting patient progress, educating patients and caregivers, effective communication with the interdisciplinary team, adhering to professional standards, and maintaining cleanliness of therapy areas. This role requires an Associate degree for occupational therapy assistants and a valid COTA license in Pennsylvania.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree for occupational therapy assistant
- Licensed as a COTA in the state of PA
- BLS certification required or obtained within 1 month of hire
- Valid PA driver’s license with good driving record and access to a vehicle
