Job Summary
Provide high-quality occupational therapy services under the direction of an OT. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans focused on functional independence. Lead therapeutic activities addressing ADLs, strength, coordination, cognition, and safety. Document patient progress and maintain accurate, timely clinical records. Educate patients and families on home programs and strategies to support daily function. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized therapy environment. Collaborate with the rehabilitation team and other healthcare staff to ensure coordinated care. Monitor patient responses and adjust interventions as appropriate under OT guidance. Participate in professional development and contribute to a positive team culture.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of (or anticipated graduation from) an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
- Current Nebraska COTA license (or eligibility)
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to patient-centered care and functional outcomes
- Interest in rural healthcare and collaborative teamwork
