Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant - Indiana Total Therapy

Optimize physical ability skills of patients in facilities under the direction of the Occupational Therapist. Assist in screening and initial evaluations, then execute treatment for all patients benefiting from intervention as prescribed by state-approved referral sources. Ensure appropriate delivery of treatment to achieve identified objectives while documenting progress. Communicate patient status and needs to patients, family members, and professional staff. Establish relationships with facility staff through education about therapy and services, and attend patient care, utilization review, and conference committee meetings as directed. Submit billing, payroll, and expense documentation in a timely manner. Complete appropriate forms and records as directed.
