Job Summary
Conduct occupational therapy in patient homes to restore physical ability, strictly following the treatment plan defined by the supervising OT and state laws. Instruct patients, families, and caregivers on evidence-based therapy within the scope of practice while observing, recording, and reporting patient responses and condition changes to the nurse supervisor and physician. Maintain certification with the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy and hold a current driver's license with vehicle insurance or access to public transportation. Perform duties in diverse home situations regardless of client demographics.
Required Qualifications
- Current Occupational Therapy Assistant licensure in the state of Washington
- Current driver's license and vehicle insurance
- Access to a dependable vehicle
- Public transportation
- Must be certified and in good standing with the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy
- Candidates are required to pass a drug test before beginning employment
Desired Qualifications
- Current CPR certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment
