Job Summary
Assist with the implementation of the therapy plan of care under the direct supervision of a licensed OT. Delegate and direct supportive personnel for assigned patients to enhance care services. Communicate with the supervising OT regarding scheduled patients to identify needs for assessment, reassessment, and treatment plan modifications. Educate patients, families, students, coworkers, and yourself on relevant topics. Perform other professional duties within the scope of practice for individuals recovering from traumatic injury or illness.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in a OT Assistant program
- Current and valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
- Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification
