Job Summary
Assist with the implementation of the therapy plan of care under direct supervision of a licensed OT. Delegate and direct supportive personnel for assigned patients to enhance care services. Communicate with the supervising OT regarding scheduled patients to identify needs for assessment, reassessment, and treatment plan modifications. Educate patients, families, students, coworkers, and self on relevant topics. Perform other professional duties associated with patient care within the scope of practice. This float position covers 10 locations across the St. Louis Metro area. Full-time hours are Monday through Friday, 8am-4:30pm.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in a OT Assistant program
- Current and valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
- Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification
