Job Summary
Conduct therapy sessions with patients, focusing on activities of daily living, mobility, and functional skills. Assist occupational therapists in the development and implementation of patient treatment plans while using adaptive equipment to promote independence and coordination. Collaborate with other members of the care team to ensure holistic care and support. Maintain accurate and timely records of patient progress and treatment. This role is part of Vivo Healthcare Wauchula's dedicated rehabilitation staff, committed to providing exceptional care and support to our residents.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
- Certification as a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Possession of a valid driver's license (if applicable)
