Job Summary
Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to implement individualized therapy plans under supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist in a skilled nursing/long-term care setting. Responsibilities include delivering OT treatments, documenting progress and outcomes, communicating with the interdisciplinary team, assisting residents with ADLs and mobility, monitoring resident condition, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance, and participating in care planning discussions. Requires Colorado COTA license and prefer experience in rehabilitative/sNF settings; strong communication and teamwork skills emphasized; opportunity for growth and a competitive benefits package. Pay range $27.00-$38.00/hour DOE with a $2,000 sign-on bonus. Location: Grand Junction, CO; in-person work arrangement.
Required Qualifications
- Current Colorado Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in good standing
- Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility or rehabilitation setting preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Passion for improving the lives of seniors and rehabilitation patients
