Job Summary
Provide occupational therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist. Assist in implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and therapy plans to support student learning, participation, and independence. Work with students on fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-care, visual-motor integration, and classroom participation. Collaborate with teachers, Occupational Therapists, special education staff, and families to integrate therapy strategies into the classroom. Maintain accurate documentation and records in compliance with Indiana Department of Education (IDOE) guidelines and IDEA requirements. Hourly rate range of $35.00–$46.00. Requires Associate's Degree in Occupational Therapy Assisting and current Indiana Occupational Therapy Assistant License.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in Occupational Therapy Assisting from an accredited program
- Current Indiana Occupational Therapy Assistant License issued by the Indiana Professional Licensing Agency (IPLA), or eligibility to obtain licensure prior to the start of employment
- Fingerprint clearance and background check
Desired Qualifications
- Supervised fieldwork experience in a pediatric, school-based, or related setting
