Job Summary
COTA provides direct occupational therapy rehab under the supervision of a licensed OT in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting; responsibilities include following established treatment plans, charting, using therapy software, collaborating on an interdisciplinary team, delivering patient-centered care to diverse post-acute populations (orthopedic, neurological, cardiopulmonary), promoting patient safety and functional progress, and upholding confidentiality and professional standards.
Required Qualifications
- NBCOT certification upon hire
- Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy program (ASOT)
- Active license in the applicable state
- New grads welcome; one year experience preferred
- CPR certification upon hire or during orientation; CPR must remain current
