Job Summary
Follow occupational treatment plans for patients under the direction of a supervising OT and chart appropriately and timely. Utilize therapy software accurately, assist in patient evacuation, and liaise with patients, families, and support departments to plan care. Demonstrate good body mechanics, maintain confidentiality, and communicate productively on an interdisciplinary team while adhering to Life Care's Code of Conduct and all applicable laws and regulations. Perform proficiently in competency areas including patient rights, safety, and sanitation. Maintain current NBCOT certification, CPR, and an active state license.
Required Qualifications
- NBCOT certified upon hire
- Graduate of an accredited program in occupational therapy (ASOT)
- Currently registered/licensed in applicable State
- Maintain an active license in good standing throughout employment
- CPR certification upon hire or obtain during orientation
- CPR certification must remain current during employment
- Read, write, speak, and understand the English language
Desired Qualifications
- One (1) year experience preferred
