Job Summary
Provide direct rehabilitation care in occupational therapy to patients under the supervision of a licensed OT in post-acute care, following treatment plans and ensuring adherence to all applicable laws and Life Care standards. Responsibilities include following occupational treatment plans, charting appropriately and timely, utilizing therapy software, delivering excellent customer service, evacuating patients when needed, maintaining regular attendance, using good judgment, collaborating on an interdisciplinary team, and upholding patient rights, safety, confidentiality, and company policies. Required qualifications include NBCOT certification upon hire, active state licensure, CPR certification, and completion of an accredited OT program (ASOT); new grads welcome. Proficiency with Word, Excel, and email is expected, along with professional conduct and ongoing compliance training.
