Job Summary
The COTA provides direct rehabilitation care in occupational therapy to patients under the supervision of a licensed OT, in a post-acute care setting. Requires NBCOT certification upon hire and an active state license; one year of experience preferred but new grads welcome. Must maintain CPR certification. Responsibilities include following treatment plans, charting, using therapy software, and delivering excellent patient service as part of an interdisciplinary team. Liaisons with patients and families, adherence to policies and code of conduct, and participation in community health activities. Proficient use of Word/Excel/email, ability to communicate in English, maintain confidentiality, and support safety and patient rights. Working in Payson, AZ with full-time schedule and benefits.
Required Qualifications
- NBCOT certified upon hire
- Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy program (ASOT)
- Active state license
- CPR certification upon hire or during orientation
- One (1) year experience preferred; new grads welcome to apply
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email
- Demonstrates professional conduct and compliance with policies
