Job Summary
Follow occupational treatment plans for patients under the direction of a supervising OT and chart appropriately and timely. Utilize therapy software accurately, liaise with patients and families to plan needs, and assist in patient evacuation. Maintain confidentiality, adhere to Life Care's Code of Conduct, and demonstrate good body mechanics while performing essential functions like sitting, standing, and lifting. Communicate productively on an interdisciplinary team, exhibit excellent customer service, and make independent decisions when circumstances warrant. NBCOT certification required upon hire with an active state license; CPR certification needed.
Required Qualifications
- NBCOT certified upon hire
- Graduate of an accredited program in occupational therapy (ASOT)
- Currently registered/licensed in applicable State
- Maintain an active license in good standing throughout employment
- CPR certification upon hire or obtain during orientation
- CPR certification must remain current during employment
- Read, write, speak, and understand the English language
- Sit, stand, bend, lift, push, pull, stoop, walk, reach, and move intermittently during working hours
Desired Qualifications
- One (1) year experience preferred
