Job Summary
Follow occupational treatment plans for patients under the direction of a supervising Occupational Therapist. Chart appropriately and utilize therapy software accurately while maintaining patient rights, safety, and sanitation standards. Liaise with patients, families, and support departments to plan care, and assist in patient evacuation as needed. Demonstrate good body mechanics, make independent decisions when warranted, and communicate productively on an interdisciplinary team. Maintain current NBCOT certification, active state licensure, and CPR certification, adhering to all Life Care standards, policies, and the Code of Conduct.
Required Qualifications
- NBCOT certified upon hire
- Graduate of an accredited program in occupational therapy (ASOT)
- Currently registered/licensed in applicable State
- Maintain an active license in good standing throughout employment
- CPR certification upon hire or obtain during orientation
- CPR certification must remain current during employment
- Read, write, speak, and understand the English language
Desired Qualifications
- One (1) year experience preferred
