Job Summary
Provide direct rehab care in occupational therapy under the supervision of a licensed OT in a post-acute care setting. Follow occupational treatment plans, chart appropriately and timely, utilize therapy software, and maintain excellent customer service and a positive attitude toward patients. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other departments; participate in programs, goals, and compliance requirements; maintain patient rights, safety, and confidentiality; demonstrate dependability, regular attendance, and the ability to function on an interdisciplinary team. Must maintain current licensure and CPR certification; NBOTC certification upon hire; new graduates welcome.
Required Qualifications
- NBCOT certified upon hire
- Graduate of an accredited program in occupational therapy (ASOT)
- Currently registered/licensed in applicable State and maintain active license
- One year experience preferred; new grads welcome to apply
- CPR certification upon hire or during orientation; CPR must remain current
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email
- Demonstrates knowledge of post-acute care facility laws, regulations, and guidelines
- Follow treatment plans under supervision of OT; charting; therapy software
- Excellent customer service and positive attitude toward patients
- Ability to work in an interdisciplinary team; maintain confidentiality and professional conduct
