Job Summary
Direct rehab care in occupational therapy under supervision of a licensed OT for post-acute patients. NBCOT certification required upon hire with an active state license; new grads welcome. Responsibilities include following occupational treatment plans, charting, using therapy software, delivering excellent patient service, coordinating with patients and families, participating in interdisciplinary teams, maintaining confidentiality and professional conduct, and supporting department goals. Proficiency in Microsoft Word/Excel and adherence to Life Care policies and codes of conduct are expected.
Required Qualifications
- NBCOT certification upon hire
- Graduate of an accredited program in occupational therapy (ASOT)
- Currently registered/licensed in applicable State; must maintain an active license in good standing throughout employment
- CPR certification upon hire or during orientation; CPR certification must remain current during employment
Desired Qualifications
- NBCOT certification upon hire
- ASOT/OT degree from accredited program
- Current active OT license in applicable state
- CPR certification upon hire (or during orientation) and maintained during employment
- 1 year experience preferred; new grads welcome to apply
