Job Summary
Direct rehab care for patients under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist (OT) in a skilled nursing facility setting. Provide occupational therapy services to residents with orthopedic, neurological, cardiopulmonary, and post-acute needs, following established treatment plans and using therapy software. Maintain professional relationships within an interdisciplinary team, document promptly, ensure patient rights and safety, and support ongoing functional progress and quality of life. NBCOT certification required upon hire; active state licensure; one year of experience preferred (new grads welcome). Proficiency in Word and Excel; CPR certification required; strong communication and organization skills; ability to work in a patient-centered, collaborative environment. Essential functions include charting, adherence to policies, and contributing to patient care and safety within a post-acute care facility. EOE.
Required Qualifications
- NBCOT certification upon hire
- Graduate of an accredited program in occupational therapy (ASOT)
- Currently registered/licensed in applicable State with active license in good standing
- CPR certification upon hire or during orientation
