Job Summary
The Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) provides direct OT rehab care under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist in Life Care Centers of America SNFs. Responsibilities include following established treatment plans, charting promptly, using therapy software, and delivering patient-centered care to residents with orthopedic, neurological, cardiopulmonary, and post-acute needs. The role requires collaboration within an interdisciplinary team, maintaining professional conduct and confidentiality, showing good body mechanics, making independent decisions when warranted, and supporting program goals, policies, and compliance. Required Qualifications
- NBCOT certification upon hire
- Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy program (ASOT)
- Currently registered/licensed in applicable State; active license in good standing throughout employment
- One year experience preferred; new grads welcome to apply
- CPR certification upon hire or during orientation; CPR must remain current during employment
