Job Summary
Provide direct rehab care in occupational therapy to patients under the supervision of a licensed OT in a post-acute care facility, following established treatment plans and Life Care standards. Maintain accurate charting, utilize therapy software, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to meet patient goals. Demonstrate strong patient communication, professional conduct, confidentiality, and safe body mechanics; participate in community health matters as appropriate; adhere to company policies and code of conduct; maintain current CPR and licensure, and support ongoing professional development.
Required Qualifications
- NBCOT certification upon hire
- Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy assistant program (ASOT)
- Current state licensure/registration in good standing
- CPR certification upon hire or during orientation
