Job Summary
Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) provides direct occupational therapy rehab under the supervision of an OT in Life Care Centers of America facilities. NBCOT certification upon hire with current state licensure; new grads welcomed and 1 year experience preferred. Responsibilities include following established OT treatment plans, charting, using therapy software, collaborating on an interdisciplinary team, ensuring patient safety and confidentiality, and supporting mobility and functional progress in SNF and post-acute settings. Requires proficiency with Word/Excel, strong communication, and adherence to company policies and code of conduct. Required Qualifications
- NBCOT certification upon hire
- Active OT license in applicable state
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program (ASOT)
