Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA)

Job Summary
Direct rehabilitation care in occupational therapy to patients under the supervision of a licensed OT, following established treatment plans and Life Care standards. Provide patient-focused OT services in a post-acute care setting (SNF) as part of an interdisciplinary team; document appropriately, use therapy software, maintain safety and confidentiality, and demonstrate professionalism. Requires NBCOT certification upon hire (licensure in state), with new grads welcome and a potential for career advancement within Life Care Centers of America facilities in King County, WA. Full-time role with flexible scheduling and benefits including CEUs, loan repayment options, 401(k), vacation and holidays, and health insurance.
Required Qualifications
- NBCOT certification upon hire
- Licensed or eligible to practice OT in applicable state
- Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy program (ASOT)
- One year experience preferred; new grads welcome
- CPR certification upon hire or during orientation
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and email
- Ability to follow occupational treatment plans under OT supervision
- Ability to document accurately and maintain charting
- Ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team
- Commitment to patient safety, confidentiality, and professional conduct
