Job Summary
Follow occupational treatment plans for patients under the direction of a supervising Occupational Therapist, chart appropriately, and utilize therapy software accurately. Liaise with patients, families, and support departments to plan for patient needs while demonstrating good body mechanics and making independent decisions when circumstances warrant. Perform competency areas including patient rights, safety, and sanitation, and assist in patient evacuation. Communicate productively on an interdisciplinary team and maintain confidentiality of all proprietary information. Adhere to company policies, the Code of Conduct, and applicable laws governing post-acute care functions.
Required Qualifications
- NBCOT certified upon hire
- Graduate of an accredited program in occupational therapy (ASOT)
- Currently registered/licensed in applicable State
- Active license in good standing throughout employment
- CPR certification upon hire or obtain during orientation
- CPR certification must remain current during employment
- Read, write, speak, and understand the English language
Desired Qualifications
