Job Summary
Deliver individualized therapy based on treatment plans developed by the Occupational Therapist, focusing on activities to improve daily living skills such as dressing, eating, and mobility. Track and document patient progress in compliance with facility policies while reporting changes to the OT. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including PT and nursing to provide holistic care, and educate patients and families on therapeutic exercises and adaptive equipment. Lead or assist patients with exercises and activities of daily living to encourage engagement in a supportive environment. Schedule is full-time, Monday through Friday, no evenings or weekends. Hourly rate ranges from $35.00 to $40.00.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant program from an accredited school
- Certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) through the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)
- Current state licensure (or eligibility) to practice as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant
