Job Summary
Direct rehab care in occupational therapy as a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) under the supervision of an licensed OT. Responsibilities include following occupational treatment plans, charting, using therapy software, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team, maintaining patient rights and safety, and upholding Life Care policies and codes of conduct. Requires NBCOT certification upon hire, active state licensure, CPR certification, and an accredited OT program completion (ASOT); 1 year experience preferred, new grads welcome; ability to communicate with patients and families and perform essential functions in a post-acute care setting.
Required Qualifications
- NBCOT certification upon hire
- State licensure in applicable state
- Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy program (ASOT)
- CPR certification upon hire or during orientation
- 1 year experience preferred; new grads welcome
