Job Summary
Follow occupational treatment plans for patients under the direction of a supervising Occupational Therapist, chart appropriately and timely, and utilize therapy software accurately. Liaise with patients, families, and support departments to plan for patient needs while demonstrating good body mechanics and making independent decisions when circumstances warrant. Perform competency areas including patient rights, safety, and sanitation, and assist in patient evacuation. Maintain confidentiality, adhere to Life Care Code of Conduct and compliance training, and function productively on an interdisciplinary team. Requires NBCOT certification upon hire, current state licensure, and CPR certification.
Required Qualifications
- NBCOT certified upon hire
- Graduate of an accredited program in occupational therapy (ASOT)
- Currently registered/licensed in applicable State
- Must maintain an active license in good standing throughout employment
- CPR certification upon hire or obtain during orientation
- CPR certification must remain current during employment
- Read, write, speak, and understand the English language
Desired Qualifications
- One (1) year experience preferred
