Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant ~ COTA (81527)

The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) will work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to implement individualized treatment plans that help residents achieve the highest possible level of independence and quality of life. Responsibilities include providing occupational therapy treatments per the plan of care, documenting resident progress and outcomes, communicating updates with the interdisciplinary team, assisting residents with activities of daily living and functional mobility, monitoring changes in condition, ensuring resident safety and dignity during sessions, participating in care planning and therapy team discussions, and maintaining compliance with applicable regulations.
