Job Summary
Provide direct rehab care in occupational therapy to patients under the supervision of a licensed OT in a post-acute care facility. Duties include following established treatment plans, documenting appropriately, using therapy software, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team, ensuring patient rights and safety, maintaining confidentiality, and upholding Life Care policies. Must be NBCOT-certified or eligible, licensed/registered in the applicable state, and maintain CPR certification; one year of experience preferred but new grads are welcome. This_full-time role requires proactive patient assessment, liaison with patients/families, and dependable attendance, with opportunities to participate in community health projects and ongoing compliance training.
Required Qualifications
- NBCOT certified upon hire (or eligible for certification)
- Graduate of an accredited program in occupational therapy (ASOT)
- Currently registered/licensed in applicable State; active license in good standing
- CPR certification upon hire or during orientation; CPR must remain current during employment
- One (1) year experience preferred; new grads welcome to apply
