Job Summary
Assist Occupational Therapists in providing rehabilitative services to patients under their care by helping individuals with exercises to improve strength, balance, and mobility. Observe and document patient progress, instruct patients and family members on proper techniques, and communicate with healthcare professionals to coordinate care. Maintain clean treatment areas and adhere to all safety standards while participating in regular training. Requires an active COTA license, associate's degree, and one year of experience. Full-time role in Littleton, Colorado.
Required Qualifications
- Active license to treat in Occupational Therapy
- Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant program
- State licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Occupational Therapy Assistant
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Knowledge of physical therapy techniques, principles, and practices
- Physical stamina to assist patients with mobility and perform repetitive tasks
- Ability to lift and move equipment and assist patients with physical activities
