Job Summary
Provide rehabilitative care as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist; assist patients with exercises and activities to improve strength, balance, and mobility; observe and document patients’ progress and report to the Occupational Therapist; instruct patients and family members on proper techniques for exercises and equipment use; communicate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care; maintain clean and organized treatment areas; adhere to healthcare and safety standards; participate in regular training and educational opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills.
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant program
- State licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Occupational Therapy Assistant
- Active license to treat in Occupational Therapy
