Job Summary
Implement treatment plans for patients to improve daily living activities while monitoring progress and documenting outcomes. Educate patients and families on therapeutic techniques and collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care using knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology. Work in inpatient, outpatient, or skilled nursing facility settings within a rural environment at Park View Care Center. Requires a current MN COTA license and Associate's degree from an accredited program.
Required Qualifications
- Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant
- graduate from an Accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program
- Associate's degree
- current MN Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) License
- strong knowledge regarding state, federal, and local regulations as they pertain to long-term care
- capable of performing the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodations
- ability to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing
- sufficient communication skills to perform the tasks required
- Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology
- Ability to provide patient care in inpatient, outpatient, and skilled nursing facility settings
