Job Summary
Implement treatment plans for patients to improve daily living activities, monitor progress, and document outcomes in accordance with care plans. Educate patients and families on therapeutic techniques while collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care. Assist with anatomy and medical terminology knowledge in inpatient, outpatient, and skilled nursing facility settings. Required Qualifications
- Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant
- graduate from an Accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program
- Associate's degree
- current MN Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) License
- strong knowledge regarding state, federal, and local regulations as they pertain to long-term care
- capable of performing the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodations
- ability to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing
- sufficient communication skills to perform the tasks required
- Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology
- Ability to provide patient care in inpatient, outpatient, and skilled nursing facility settings
